'Auto' Hide Search Area after Searching

Postby mtishman » Jan 10th, '10, 16:15

Similar to the <hideGridBeforeSearch = true> option, how would I programmatically hide the search area after someone has entered in their search info and clicked on the search button? I know they could click on the hide search icon after searching, however I'd like to do this automatically upon them clicking on the search button.

I tried <hideSearchAfterSearch = true> but this did nothing. I was guessing it might already be an option, but it's not. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks,
Michael

You may play with

$filtering_option = true;
$show_search_type = true;
$dgrid->AllowFiltering($filtering_option, $show_search_type);

catch search event and disable searching by $filtering_option = false;
