MD5 password crypt

Postby JormaH » Jul 17th, '09, 09:36

Hi,
Does v4.2.8 support password cryptography? MD5 and MySQL
I not, can it do with external function?

I have phpSecurePages and MySQL database. The only interface to user database is Datagrid (now v4.2.8)
I now use directly phpMyAdmin to create/change users passwords.

Free version of DataGrid doesn't support password cryptography, but versions 5.x.x. supports.
Password field has special attributes for this:

"cryptography"=>"false",
"cryptography_type"=>"aes|md5",
"aes_password"=>"aes_password"

Return to “Field type: "password"”
