Datagrid 7.4.9 and French characters in headers...

Postby hugomp » Aug 6th, '12, 08:53

French characters like é or è do not seem to properly utf8 encode in headers.

The only way I found to get headers to properly display french characters (instead the interrogation mark) in headers is to use the php utf8_encode() function:

Right..., another way may be to add this line:
$fp_header = utf8_encode($fp_header);
in function GetHeaderName() in datagrid.class.php ?

Yes, you may do it also. But if your database, tables and page are all UTF8 - you don't need to do it.
