How to organize datagrid files

Postby daviddelmonte » May 21st, '10, 09:58

I seem to have a good install of datagrid, at least enough to run the example files.

As I now want to move some of my new files into my live site, what is the most appropriate way to do this, so that I do not break linkages with configuration files?

For example, what files/folders have to be copied/moved to the live site?

Many thanks

You move your file and leave datagrid folder. What you need is just to rewrite database connection parameters and datagrid/ pathes

Got it.. Many thanks..

I've also moved all the database connection code into a function, so that , when I want to use testdata, I only change one line in the function file, and all pages are now pointed to the test stuff.

I really like this grid. MANY thanks for your hard work.
