DATAGRID_DIR Settings when called from site sub-directory

Postby mamuscia » Aug 29th, '12, 15:37

I have a website that has multiple sub-directories where PHP pages reside. I am trying to share a single installed copy of DataGrid with all sub-directory
pages. I installed data grid in the root directory in a directory called datagrid. What should I set DATAGRID_DIR and PEAR_DIR to?

Here's a graphical picture of the directory structure.

Code: Select all

public_html (root)
datagrid (dir containing installed dg files)
   a (directory)
page_a.php (page within directory 'a' that needs to call dg.)
   b (directory)
page_b.php (page within directory 'b' that needs to call dg.)

If all my DG code resides in the root directory, what should I set DATAGRID_DIR and PEAR_DIR constants to in DGDefinitions.php?

It must be a relative path to datagrid.class.php.

For example:
page_a.php : ../datagrid/
page_b.php : ../datagrid/

Is it clear now?
