AddNew => Direct to Custom PHP Add Page

Postby mrsicily » Jan 12th, '14, 01:38

Hi, I have been using ApPHP for some time and like it very much. I have looked on the forum and on the knowledge base for how to perform a particular operation, but have not found anything that seems to do what I want it to do.

Question: is there a way to have the AddNew button redirect the user to a custom Add page that I designed in PHP rather than the ApPHP default form? I looked at and it didn't do quite what I would like: I don't want a bunch of add links down the side of the page for each row - I want my page to be displayed from the AddNew button when clicked.

There must be a way to do this, but I haven't quite found it yet on your site. Would you know of a way?

Don't show Add button from the DataGrid and simply add your own "Add New" link.

Also, read this, it may help you.
